As you can see mine reads 9k but has the Ap2 layout when compared to your photos. However i've done some research and now believe this to be a gauge from the UK. In the UK, the same model year had a 2.0 liter Ap1 engine, i think America is the only country to receive the 2.2 liter. I think that solves this mystery👍.
