There is an article about performance tires in Car and Driver's Aug. edition. Neither one of those tires were mentioned though. The Bridgestone tire they tested was the RE 760.

Best tires in the dry (of the ones tested) were Kumho Ecsta XS.

In the wet: (Tie) Dunlop Star Spec & Hankook Ventus V12 Evo.

Overall best: Dunlop Star Spec.
