Tire question

Question about tire sizing
Am going to get some new shoes for my 05 AP2
What I am thinking is going from stock 17 inch to 18's
Any benefits? problems?
Dumb reason but I am interested in some rims but they are only available in 18's

Thanks for any input

Smaller sidewall, harsher ride, other than that...(maybe some tire rub) not much.

Tire rub definitely unless you are willing to change all your alignment specs to accommodate

As others have said, if you can keep the tire diameter and rim offset the same (or at least very close to the same), you shouldn't have any issues. There's plenty of info and discussion in other threads about this, so do your homework and you'll learn what you need to know. Good luck, post some pictures when you're done.
