Uneven rear axil tyre wear

Got a bit of a surprise after the car went for service. Rear passenger tyre was slick (no tread across full surface) however drivers side still had tread. A complete set of Eagle F1's were fitted about a year ago and I have done approx 8k. Obviously I will make more frequent tread depth checks but must say I got a shock. Have scanned/searched forum but no match found. Should I be worried? Is this common? Anyone any ideas what might have caused this and don't say heavy right foot
