springs - progressive vs linear

I never see much fanfare surrounding linear rate springs. When I was tracking my mr2s, I found that linear rate springs suited the car better.

My favorite setup after much trial and error ended up being Tanabe Sustec GF210s + Tockiko 5-ways with front and read set to 3. This produced a very balanced and confidence inspiring setup, suitable for both street and track.

Where do you guys weigh in with respect to the S2000?

i would go linear. progressive rate springs would ride better..but id rather ride stiff all the time and be used to how the car feels when i drive "spiritedly".

^ amen. Hated eibachs on my cars, but to be fair I never gave any other brands of progressives a shot after that. I'm hooked on linear springs and have been very impressed with tanabe.
