Hard to beat the price/performance/reliability. All the new cars have too many electronics for my taste, which I am sure any updated S would have. I like the AP1's "raw" feel.

Easily done, I can put anything on them in a few minutes using my Epilog Helix 60W CO2 cutter/engraver.

Once the design aspect is done, CNC milling the parts is essentially the cost of materials and machine time. I'm sure the first iteration was more than $7k, but subsequent ones should be far cheaper....

Yup, axle nut. Had the problem a while ago and posted here. Easy fix if you have a big tq wrench and the big socket. Make sure you don't forget to re-stake the lock ring.
