Hello Morg,

Vinny and I talked about a possible Palomar/Julian run on the 22nd. Weather conditions permitting.

I don't think this Saturday looks good for a drive, but what about Sunday? I would go for Saturday the 30th, but it is my step-daughter's 18th birthday and I'm sure we will be doing something for it.

If anyone is interested in moving to the north (i.e., near to OC), I would be game. i am looking for excuses to drive my car. Last weekend, I put a miserable 20 miles on it!

I'm not interested in driving 90 minutes to OC. The meeting point is already a 40 mile drive for me.

Understand. I drove 80 miles to Del mar a few weeks ago (I think I may have seen your car during the time when the fairgrounds took our $9) and had a great time but the Julian trip looks to be 250-300 miles in total for me. It doesn't look like there is a lot of activity with S2K owners in OC, at least from what I can see. There is no S2KCA group for this area, I believe. SD seems to be very active.

SD people are just party people, imo. Regardless of what they drive. It's like the town just emits party vibes that intoxicate the residents.

Hmmm.... why do I live in LA? Oh yeah.... that work thing. *sigh*

If you're looking for other OC S2k owners on this forum, that's probably where your problem resides. Although this forum is active it's one of the least active of all the s2000 owner forums. try looking in here...This seems to be the most active forum with s2kca coming in second. There are a devoted few on here which I have respect for but this forum is very limited and will not get you far in your specific search.

Drive cancelled. John said they were having below freezing temps up north which means ice from any leftover water up in the hills.

We won't be going any time soon since they got 5+ inches of snow in Julian this week.

I'll bet it's beautiful though. Terrible for driving, but beautiful to see.
