Thought I would share this. I agree that many airline pilots believe TWA was shot down.
A bunch of our pilots witnessed the disaster. Most are military guys and they all described the launch and impact. One had a video which was taken and never returned.
The US gave the Afghans many Stinger missels to combat the Russian; quite a few went to the black market. The 747 was within range of the Stinger. Interesting that the plane that took off right before was an El AL flight. You can monitor traffic with an off the shelf scanner. Bill Clinton was running for re-election at the time. This was a way to bury an act of war.

No UFO in my opinion. You can see symmetrical wingtip strobes as well as the typical under fuselage beacon plus tail lights. Pretty standard aircraft with night lights.
Lo siento mucho!

Come to find out it was a Delta flight in the Mojave Desert with people on it watching the Super Moon. I didn't know they had tours like that kinda weird.

Have to wait for my return to CONUS. In Beijing right now and the Chi-commies limit the internet. No u-tube, no US Google (Hong Kong Google okay but it is restricted by Google on request to the govt) and even my Gmail on iPad is blocked. I can use my T-Mobile Note4 however.

The commies are getting really good. You can tunnel to another computer but as there is no encryption, the commies can see that and block it. They are so fast, you can send an image, say on WeChat, it will show sent but the recipient will never get it if the image is questionable. I tried this out sending google map images. Nailed every time.

Most of us use VPNs but even then they are catching on. Go to China and see what Big Brother is really all about. Facial recognition, crowd control, complete monitoring of movements everywhere.

Someone needs to support the illegal population in California and pay for the billions to be spent on digging huge tunnels to divert water to southern California to "preserve the environment" despite the state being in debt for 1.3 TRILLION dollars.

A couple more years and then the trout get my full attention!

Saw that. Not a big deal at all. Engine works fine without a shroud. Gas mileage takes a hit though. It is like driving a car without a hood.

I am more concerned about carbon based bi-peds trying to kill me than mechanical failures. You can train to your hearts content for those!
