Trying to get 2007 s2000

Hello there, so i have been looking for the right s2000 for me. but just looking to pay the right price. i have an eye on a red 2007 s2k but it is salvage..apparently something fell on top of the front end smashed windshield and the differentials or one had to be replaced. another thing is that im first time buyer..i mean off the dealer. So not sure how to approuch this sittuation or what to ask for. remember im first time buyer so im pretty dumb. any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Not sure what you mean about the differentials? There is only one and it is not near the windshield. If you can post some pictures it will give others a better chance of helping you.

if the car has a salvage title its not really a good deal.
Ask if it has frame problems, what all was damaged and what all was fixed.
whats the asking price? all the items that have been fixed what type of parts did they use. who did the body work a certified collision center or some Jo Shmo? is ity street legal. any engine problems as a as a result of the accident.

Bro trust me. Take your time and either save your money for the right one - the one you really want. They are worth the wait and will certainly be around when you are ready.

Someone with limited knowledge of cars and of car buying should probably avoid buying a salvage title car, particularly when there are still plenty of non-salvage examples of the car available if you are willing to be diligent and take the time to look.

MY Property, here's a source for S2000's, in every case check the history of the car. Good luck finding your particular car.

Yeah, it would be a good idea to wait. I wouldn't trust one with a history like that.

Good man. Maybe in 20 years when all the teenagers have drove most of the S2k's into a tree and there are no more clean titles for sale then you may want to look into buying one with a salvage title.

yah for your first car buying experience, wouldn't go with a salvage title, might cost you a little bit more $ in the beg but it'll save you a lot more headaches later

I would also recommend avoiding a car with that sort of damage. You just cant be sure that something wasn't tweaked. This is especially critical on a performance car since it may affect the driving experience which really shouldn't be compromised.
