Many thanks for the alert. I knew the S2000 was a favorite target of thieves and I watch mine like a hawk when I have to park it. I thought I was just being paranoid, but maybe not.

When I first own the car and before I had a third party alarm installed, someone tried to "jimmy" open the center console and that was in broad daylight in a store parking lot. I had gone into the store for about 5 minutes and left the top down. I didn't notice the screwdriver marks on the inside of the console door until I got home. Grrrrr.....

That's just horrible. more than likely if they aren't recovered soon enough (which they won't be more than likely) they will be shipped out of the country or ripped apart. Now there are three less than there use to be. Between that and these young asshats wrecking them there will be nothing left.

Holy crap indeed, Batman!! I was very concerned about this when my car was new, now not so much. Maybe I should be!!!

WOW! I can't believe an S2000 owner wouldn't have a serious tracking/alarm system. My CR-Z came with a guidepoint system with GPS internet tracking, in case it gets stolen.
