sup guys, picked up a wreckd '00 from my buddy. I had a pport n/a carb'd 13b in my '85 rx7 but it was too much of a racecar... wanted to just be WOT or idling, otherwise it would jerk around too much on the street. Sold the engine and the plan is to toss this f20 in it, ive seen one other 1st gen rx7 with this engine swap
looking to do a small turbo after it's in and running... shooting for 300-350whp, it only weighs 2100lbs or so, dont need that much hp - that's what my gtr is for

uhhhh intro? 25, maryland, hazmat tech, DoD employee, volunteer firefighter, tig welding certified - when i stopped going to college lol. big into cars, guns, motorcycles. buy and sell a LOT, mostly motorcycles - ive had probably close to 60 or so. i daily a lowered 91 s10 p/u, besides my rx7 i have a '91 R32 GTR i picked up when i came back from a 4mo tour in the sandbox, bikes currently: '98 ktm 300exc dual sport, '78 honda hobbit moped cafe'd and a 07 fz6. there's also a 3 wheeler and a street legal sand rail when the paddle tires arent on the rear. oh and im building a '30 model a rat rod i wanna put a 1j in. i think that about sums it up
We've gotta enclosed trailer, '86 c/k 30 22' flatbed w/454 big block and a open deck dual ramp trailer to pull the toys with. a 7 car garage w/ 4post lift and a paint booth, i can do just about anything needed at home and you can bet i have no idea what im getting into with this swap but i'll figure it out. nothing a big hammer and a welder cant fix, right ?

oh also also have some parts left over from the part out. silver doors, door glass, red door panels, soft top with no tears but soft plastic rear that's foggy and has tape on it, brake calipers... some other misc stuff but most of the good things are gone, ask if there's somethign you're looking for

The group here is not dead. Just picky. Tend to be long term owners of S2000s. Actually frequently read but not always posting like crazy.

This forum is not as large as some of the others. Even the largest of them are evolving to FB. The problem with that is information is not as readily verified as correct. Some of the below forums have pretty good intel via "stickies" that go over almost anything you might want to do to or need to do to your S.

You might check the S2KI Facebook page or S2KCA or S2KI,com. The Mid-A forum on S2KI is extremely active. S2000 is a bit more sedate. You just missed Dragon Fall Run 2018 at Deal's Gap, but there will probably be a Blue Ridge Parkway drive coming up in October.
