Finally joining Club S2K

Today I am going to close the deal on my dream car. A 2002 Honda S2000, I have been trying to purchase this car since 2008 and have worked tirelessly to achieve this goal and finally become a member of the S2K owners club the car is one owner( family friend) been well kept only 38,000 original miles. No damage or body work. And has a regular maintenance record serviced at the local Honda dealership since new. Iím very excited and canít wait to get this beauty on the Hwy this summer!
Here is some pics, itís been under the carport for about a year so the pics arenít great, but when cleaned up itíll pop like new money

Congrats! Except for the leaves and dust, looks like in great condition. I would introduce all the rubber door/window/roof seals to some shin etsu silicon grease.

Ya, the fuel door got me too. One thing, if it ever gets stolen the thief can only get as far as there is gas in the tank.

The other thing that stumped me was the dip stick. Expecting the round end, like every other car I have had it was a puzzle. Very discrete. Obviously an indication of good design elsewhere too.

After the gas pump incident I watched a video on you tube which was a great help. And they were very good on design throughout the whole vehicle. Except the Tonneau boot its a bit tricky. I ordered a brand new top as the old one is worn from the weather....It will be garaged from now on.

I found a compartment between the seats (center console) and one in between the seat backs, is there one I'm missing?
