New to forum from Montana

Hello all, I have had my S2000 for about 5 or 6 years. Its a black 2001 with red seats. Love this car and am looking forward to learning more about it from other owners. I only drive it from April or so to October. I just don't care to drive this car in the snow.

Yes, Flathead Lake is beautiful. There are many great places to drive this car and my current favorite is Flesher Pass between Lincoln and Helena. No traffic!!

Hey Mark. Welcome to the site. Glad to see someone in my neighborhood. Bought my S at Kalsipell Toyota 7 years ago and most of my miles have been logged in Montana. GREAT place to drive. Have you done the Bear Tooth yet??
Made a run through Great Falls, Helena, Missola (sp?) and Columbia Falls a few weeks ago checking out baseball stadiums.
I know what you mean about the snow. I run my S from May 1 to Oct 31st. Then the Subaru covers me for the winter. But being from Montana you know all about the official Montana vehicle. There has to be more per capital than any other vehicle.
Year end is near, but I will keep an eye out for a Black S next spring.

I saw a black S from Alberta here in Kalispell a couple years ago. I think I have the only black one here and there are only a few others. I have not driven the Beartooth in the S. I did it many years ago on a motorcycle and then down through Sunlight Basin to Cody, another great road. See you next summer or spring.

Just parked it for the winter. It's a sad time.

Mine goes into hibernation tomorrow. Got the oil changed Saturday, fuel stabilizer in tonight and get the tires pumped up to 50 psi tomorrow at noon. It is a sad time. Didn't log nearly enough miles this year.
Mark have you been over the pass between Thompson Falls and Kellogg? The one that goes past the Prichard Tavern on the west side? I love that place. Pretty diverse clientele. Had some great conversations in that place. Gotta watch what you say tho. Lot of people with side arms in northern Idaho

Mine was supposed to go to bed today but I'm getting the garage door changed next week so I've put it off. I used to change the oil, now I just pump up the tires, fuel stabilize, battery minder, wash and cover.

I have been over Thompson pass many times on a motorcycle I used to own. I haven't taken the S there yet. I just never think to do it, but it is a great road. I have been to that place you spoke of. That part of Idaho really isn't that much different from Montana. You really have to be careful of road ragers. I always assume they are armed.
