2nd S2000...glad to be back

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. I just picked up an 03 suzuka blue s2k a couple of months ago. This is my second s2000 - I had a berlina black s2000 for about a year in 06, sold that and got into an Evo IX RS for a handful of years, and now I'm back to the s2k.

I attached a few pics of my car - it's all stock, but I thought it'd be nice for everyone to see.

Take care!

It was a 2000. Had a couple of mods on that one...mugen rear wing and mugen tit exhaust. I'm still on the fence about modding this one!

03 was the last year for the ap1. If it's clean as it looks, I would keep it stock. How many miles?

Very clean and VERY nice. Ain't a darn thing wrong with totally stock. Nothing wrong with people modding if they want to, but I have a soft spot in my heart for a well-cared for totally OEM example of a sweet car.

Welcome!

What made you want to sell the Evo and get another S2K?

Welcome!
Only things you can see on my S are the led for the remote start and the exhaust. Its my goal to keep it that way. Im gonna beef up the drivetrain and brakes next year. Year after that... Supercharge.

Honestly, my plan was to sell the evo and get something more practical (lower maintenance costs, better gas mileage, lower insurance, etc). I actually went to my local Honda dealership to check out the new civic hybrid and stumbled upon this beautiful AP1. Took it for a drive...next thing I know I'm signing papers for it and taking it home

And honestly, I couldn't be happier with my decision. Driving the S puts a smile on my face everyday. And I guess I did end up with something more "practical" (comparing the S to the evo, my maintenance costs went down, gas mileage went up, insurance went down).
