Pretty slick how you squeezed in the for-sale ad with your "introduction".

Good luck with the sale.

Welcome to the site,
Jagg

the spills are not from this car.. that would be 2 DSM's that are always parked there.

S2k is a better machine all the way around T.lack,
and once you get used to having no room, and all the noise,
it's a dream to drive.
good fuel economy, even if you're prone to standing on it ( and you will ).
low maintainence.....pretty much just oil changes, and LOTS of rear tires.
not good in the snow.

not improvable without spending big money.

your bimmer looks as naked as a chevy without a bowtie.
why ditch the propeller anyway?

dsm, sheesh.

All part of the fun Jaggster. I never had a dream about driving a spacious and quiet sports car. Those are essential elements. Otherwise its just a sporty car. OUr WRX is much quieter and much roomier but I always take the s2000 when I want to have fun.

The Subie is a blast to drive, it accelerates from 3k to 7k like a banshee. Its less fun in the corners though, has a tendency to understeer (heavy up front). It could probably be made to be better with some suspension mods but its just less in your face than the s2000. The exhaust burbles at low rpm but gets generic above 2K. It has a firm suspension but it doesnt feel like its on rails like the S.

The turbo lag is kinda fun but it doesnt have that immediacy like the s2000 when you floor the gas, its more of the jump to light speed in the star wars movies, a small delay from gas to acceleration, but when it happens it pushes you back in your seat hard all the way till the redline.

Also, the shifter SUCKS.

That's pretty much what I thought. My dad had an 03 WRX when they first came out and I came up with pretty much the same conclusion. That doesn't mean I'm not a Subie guy though.....

I was speaking in comparsion to the OP's current ride, Mario.

Did I mention I own an '08 ?
I got the convertible one, and opted out on the auto trans. Heard the manual is better on gas, 'n the chicks dig it.

I know I have driven quite a few subarus and drive a legacy gt in the winter. That seems to be one thing Subaru is not even on the same planet compared Honda.

Yeah, I guess as long as your old lady doesn't mind the wind mussing her hair-do that she spent 2 hours getting just right, she might dig your 08 (were they out of 09s?) otherwise you might want to take the Volvo. for the win.

Oh yeah, welcome to the site OP. Good luck on getting an S2000.
