Just got a 2004 S2000

Hi everyone,
I just turned in my '08 Civic Si for a 2004 S2000. It is New formula red with 28000 miles on it. I see why there are so many fans now. The handling is great and the engine (completely stock for now) is amazing. Just wanted to share a pic and introduce myself.

Thanks mrmin. Congrats to you too.

I haven't found the secret compartment yet. I've read all about it on here, and I'm guessing that's where my missing manual and wheel lock key are. I guess I'll have extras when I find it, because the dealer ordered me new ones.

I did find the fuel door opener though, after about 10 minutes.

When I got my 2005 4 months ago I had to use the manual while sitting at the gas pump to find the release

Welcome to the club! How did you like the Civic SI? I have considered buying one in the future, possibly the four door model. I know it is not an S, but I imagine they are pretty peppy and can hold a couple more passengers, luggage, cups, etc...

Find anything good in there?

Wheel lock key is usually with the spare tire stuff. Pull it all out of the trunk, maybe it fell underneath?

Oh yeah, welcome and congratz.

Welcome jersey. Good job on finding the secret compartment. BTW, vtec is what our cars have, vtech is a phone. Might want to tweak your screen name a little, unless you work for vtech.

Dr Jimbo- Thanks for pointing that out about the name- I changed it. You would think after looking at the sticker on the side of my car for years I would've realized it.

S2000dude- I'm from Hackensack, NJ. When I go to the beach I like to come down to Spring Lake- no comparison to Belmar.

I'll tell you where it is, just so you don't get stuck. When your sitting in the driver's seat, put your left elbow back and you will almost hit it. It's a little black **** that you pull out.. It's right next to the door on the panel just aft of the door panel. You have to find the secret compartment yourself though.

Well Jersey-V, next time you plan to take alittle ride to Spring Lake give me a call and I'll meet you there. I agree, Spring Lake is the saner of the two.

There's a few nice short rides from the ocean front inland to a couple of neat sites. One is ALLIARE VILLAGE, a restored 19th c bog iron village. Many of the buildings have been brought back to life with a lot of cool history.
Freehold has a lot of roots in the Revoloution worth checking out. Nice back roads to the place.

If interested PM for my number

Russ
