I found a 00 S2k with only 35,000 miles, white with red interior... owner says garage kept (havent seen car yet, going this week)... hes asking 14,000, kbb says somewhere around 12.5... If I were able to get the car for 12-12.5 would this be a good deal?

I assume some things to look for are title history, functionality of top, etc..

is not having the glass rear window something i should shy away from?

car will be driven on the usual nice days, have a 96 dodge for the daily duties

thanks guys!

i have only had my s2k for about 4 months now, but from what i have heard from everyone else on here the glass is the only way to go. im sure that wont make the car less enjoyable though. the 2000 is just a fun car. as far as pricing im not sure. i got my 05 with 50k on it for 15. im not the best guy to get advise from just yet, just sayin what i do know. lol wish ya luck.

Don't let the plastic window stop you from buying the car (provided everything else checks out). You can buy a plastic polish to clean the window from a BMW dealer if it's cloudy. They carry it for the Z3 which always had the rear plastic window go cloudy.

Here's the only positive of the plastic rear window. (plastic doesn't break)
