Spring Break, Hwy 1 NorCal

Spring Break is here! Wife was ready to go and I finished up flying. Headed to Point Arena on the north coast to start. Problem was Hwy 80 from Sacramento to San Francisco was a true parking lot Sunday afternoon. We detoured through Lake Berryessa and Napa, up to Boonville and down the mountains to the coast. In and out of rain, everything is green. You can smell the earth and wet spongy moss as you take the twisties through old growth redwoods.

Nice shots and I'm jealous because we have the same weather here, but I can't take the S out to go bluebonnet hunting. I had rotator surgery 6 weeks ago, and found out yesterday that the tear was so bad, my arm will be in a sling for another 4 weeks.

Looks beautiful Cos. I envy you guys who live in interesting places. Florida has got to be the worst place to own a sporty car. The only upside is I can drive top down all year round but Christ, the roads are boring.

Notice the dark clouds in the background?

The rain came and went many times. Sometimes lasted only minutes. For us, 35 mph is the magic number to stay dry in the rain top down. You slow down, wife is unhappy.
