back giving out.. sell the S2000?

im getting to the point where it hurts even to drive the S in a leisure run, because the clutch puts pressure on my back. Is there anyway to soften the clutch? I've been driving the car without using the clutch for a bit, but i dont think thats good for the car. or should i sell it all together?

Do you have a stock clutch? They're pretty tame compared to something like a stage 2 or 3 clutch(from what I've read).

Go see a chiropractor. You might have a bulged disc. Does it hurt to get out of the S. Is it hard to stand up straight or you feel like an old man when getting up from sitting after a long time?

There is a kit to convert it to automatic, using a Turbo 350 3 speed out of an old Chevy Astro minivan.

60 and that's my final offer.

Could also be sacroiliac joint that's involved in your low back pain.

I'm a chiropractor and now the offer goes to $50 (or the cost of a treatment in my office).

so if i sell my car, i can get a complete course of treatment? or only one session? $50 is rather cheap for chiropractic, thats the cost of a massage without happy ending.

I charge 50, some others charge more. I figure I'm fair. Been doing this 20 years. I'd like to bump it up a bit, but in these economic times, I'll stay at 50 for a while for my patient's sake.

rookies......Astro only came with 700R4/4L60/4L60E transmissions.

you've gotta go way older to score a tree-fiddy.

I had a 280Z with a 350 conversion... I guess I must have used the 700R4 then. I just remember it came from an Astro van. Been too many years ago.

The S would really suck with a 3 speed auto. Not that the R4 would be much better.

I use a self-inflating lumbar support pillow from Relax-The-Back store (online?). It makes a world of difference in my S comfort factor.

you said it......the S would be hard to tolerate in 5spd stick, let alone any automatic slushbox turdburner.

The time to sell it would be if the back pain gets so bad you can't have sex in it anymore!
