I too have had numerous compliments. We drive nice cars that most people don't see everyday or even know that it's made by Honda. I'm sure you will get many more.

it can be scary as well though , the first summer I had er' some guy followed me for 2 miles then followed me into a corner store where he followed me around while I shopped asking me ques.[similar" what kind of car is that? must be worth alot] he followed me to the cash than back outside to my car [ all without buying anything by the way!] he than waved me off on my way.
p.s I took the long way home to be sure my honda would be in the driveway next morning.

I haven't had anyone compliment my car, but I do get a lot of looks. It's pretty fun, and its sweet seeing other S2000's around although its rare.

lots of people hold it in so as not to add to the swollen head epidemic, when I see a hot car ill stare the crap out of it but come time to pull up next' the most ill do is a thumbs up or a nod as my pride surely wont let me tell someone thier car is nicer than mine.

i get asked it its a beamer by girls, a miata by guys who dont know $#*t, and pretty much tossed aside amongst my friends.......one has a 2010 camaro, and a 2010 nismo 370z. but i love my car....and on the road i get the occassional stare/look. but in austin, there are more S2000's than im sure are in some of your areas...hell, i just realized a sweet BB w/after market exhaust lives in my apartment complex...i dont mind...i like seeing other owners, ive only had a few encounters where people wave though :/, even if i initiate. and one time, when i was pulling into a gas station with my friends, i had the top down, so i can hear like everything (my friends were driving an 05 rx8, 2010 nismo, 08 GT) and i could hear a group of 'good 'ol boys' sayin, daddy bought it, daddy bought it, daddy bought it, as we all pulled up....idk why, but i was a little frustrated..the GT was my friends mom's car, the rx8 was bought by his dad, the nismo/camaro owner inherited as SHEEEEEIT load of money, and here i am making payments on my car..........but whatever.

I'm always checkin out other peoples cars and givin them compliments. And i hate it when people just assume my parents bought my car for me or that its my dads car. That is the most annoying thing for me. Beside, my dad hates my car haha.

ERRRR body hates it when they see a young kid/adult driving such a fine vtec machine

one time at a gas station, this kid on a street bike asked me how fast my car was... being in a joking mood, i told him it would run a 13.5, he said WHATT? thats slow! i then said, BUT! (as if he didnt let me finish) thats with Red Vtec fluid, the expensive Green vtec fluid, it will run a 12.5 in the 1/4, he was astonished.

There are quite a few esses, Integra Type-R's, Evo's, and GT-R's in my neighborhood. We've even got an S with a spoon body kit and all the suspension, motor, and "other" goodies on it running around, so my little CR doesn't get a second look.

I guess that's what happens when every twenty-something in your hood has a Japanese sports car with an unreasonable amount of money thrown into it.

It is nice seeing so many pimp machines on my morning coffee walk, so I'm not complaining.

A lot of these cats live in my neighborhood.

(EDIT) The second video isn't WS. It shows some of the attendees dancing around in semi-skimpy clothes. I thought it was another video that showed more cars, sorry.

It's been quoted, so me deleting it won't keep you from stumbling on it at work.

I owned my S2000 for 3 weeks and am getting compliments left and right. My very first car wash 2 little hatch back hondas dropped by and respectfully complimented my s2000, also i was waiting on red and a van with 2 blondes pulls up, rolles down the window and they yell "hot car!, that's freakin' hot!"

My favorite was when a few years ago I would pass a guy coming the opposite direction on the way to the Fwy. in a Red Ferrari 575 Maranello and he would flash his lights at me. One Sunday morning we happened to park side by side at Starbucks. I came out after getting my coffee and he is walking around my NFR 01 shaking his head and smiling. He asked me how much 100k 200k? I said nope 35k including the hardtop ... he about choked on his coffee then said "I have seen you a few times I think on the way up to the 15" "I said yea you flashed your lights at me each time" he then said:

"I thought you were driving a Ferrari" ....

Well.. I haven't gotten any compliments (except from my parents who didn't know what I was buying til I brought it home) but I do love when I'm driving around and pass another S going the opposite direction and there's always that little head nod or wave, like I belong to some kind of secret society.. My wife always laughs at me, but I think it's cool.

Yeah, red/red looks VERY Ferrari, especially if you're unfamiliar with the S.

I've never gotten Ferrari, but a few times in Sonoma people were shocked when they saw the H badge.

God, I love our little car.
