Latch stuck

Hey New owner, I've had my 01 ap1 for about 3 months. I frequently put the top down but notice my passenger latch lost 2 screws. I've got one but now my top won't close on that side. I don't know if this happened to anyone but I can't get it to pop back. Help please!
