Im a pretty big newb with turbo and SC but im pretty sure 8-9 is not that that high and pretty sure 5 is pretty low. You should be able to run 8-9 stock internals and be making over 300 without any problems.

Well did you already do turbo? Im planning on going supercharged seems little less problems and reliable.. I could be totally wrong though just from what I see.

if you have the right stuff and you get it tuned you wont have an issue with 9 psi

Any video with a running s2000 has cams in it. Aftermarket cams dont add power to these cars so people dont use them.

Tune tune tune! Don't skimp on tuning or else ka-boom! I'm running a Greddy kit @ 10psi on a stock block tuned on AEM EMS.

a safe boost level for any stock internal car is around 9lbs so they say..making 300 on 9lbs also depends on what turbo ur using...say u use a t25 to make 300 ur gonna need to run more than 9lbs because the cfm is different than i bigger turbo like a t3/t4..9lbs on a t3/t4 would flow about the same as a t25 on like 15-16lbs..if u wanna make good power with quick spool up i would go with a gt2871r( "r" stands for ballbearing if u didnt kno) if u have the money, if u dont u can always get the ballbearing t28 from a s15 silvia...quick spool up and u should see ur 300hp(with a good tune of course)
