Round 2.5

Well I ditched the Novi 1000 and decided to install the Novi 1200, it flows a bit more air. I will do a more detailed thread after everything is in place, and it will be a tribute to my persistence as well as a warning for those who want to boost. I installed, tuned and drove...for a while. For a reason unknown to mankind the new blower (less than 1000 miles) was starved and seized. Thus the title of the post round 2.5.
I had some head work done on the CNC by RLZ, along with some BC titanium double springs and retainers...Here are some pics of getting ready:

Is there a self-lube version of the Novi 1200 available? If so, are you going to use that instead of the AN4 VTEC port supply line?

Supercharger has been high on my list but recently I came to the realize I drive pretty aggressive and fast with the NA so boost may be a very bad thing (to much fun, police no likey)

Good luck with getting everything back together

Yes they have a 1220sl, but went with the 1200 instead. I was given some pics of the insides after Paxton took it apart and it was certainly dry as a bone and black and blue.. here is the part that is most confusing...the oil feed line came from teh VTEC port, but I installed a T in the SC feed port and the other side went directly to the oil pressure sending unit. When it went, I quickly looked at the gauge to see 85psi, which is the normal cruising pressure for my car. So it means that the oil was not going into the SC, but was coming straight through to the sending unit? They suggested the port was clogged with teflon tape from the fitting that was mounted on the VTEC side. But that debris was never found inside of the unit, in a line or a fitting. It also was never found in the oil filter that I disassembled in search of such debris. I should also add that I ran the Novi 1000 with this exact same line/T/sending unit set up, with no issues for over 10K miles. Also the fitting in the VTEC was never removed during the install of the 1200. Just one of those things I guess? I may never know, but I am taking the T out this time, going to put the sending unit in the same location as the stock sending unit.

I certainly understand your thought process and can tell you that my local LEO's are very well aware of my car and its abilities... I know several of them very well and two are neighbors. Living in a small town is somewhat of a plus for this issue, I respect them and do not do anything crazy in town or anywhere really

One of the neighbors is a state trooper and we both know his Charger cant catch me...

Prudent. I'd do that, too.
