ITB systems

Hey All,

first i'd like to start off saying please don't flame me if I posted in the wrong area.

So I am basically going entirely NA for my S2000, here are some of the parts i'm thinking of purchasing:

-ITB system (and extra components that are needed like pressure gauges)
-Hondata Flash Pro ECU

I don't think I need a new clutch (especially since I just replaced it today with the OEM one from Honda) Reason being I want my car at 300 HP max and also happens to be all the stock clutch can handle anyway, but mostly that's a just a personal choice for me

Now I currently have a 2007 AP2 S2000 2.2L with the only mod being a K&N FIPK (not dyno'd yet) and I also plan on possibly putting an exhuast system with headers (no test pipe) if that doesn't put me over the 300hp when dyno'd

Can anyone suggest an ITB system for my current model?

also, could someone be kind enough to let me know if the ITB system I found online by OBX is a complete rip off, it's 800$ with shipping.....i've seen these go for almost double

Thank you

Not sure how much you will gain from ITB's besides a headache.

Do some reading here http://www.s2ki.com/s2000/forum/213-...pirated-forum/

I don't think you will reach your 300hp goals with those parts. Are you going for 300 at the crank or wheels?

pointless and futile unless your goal is to waste $15k and be slower than a new v6 accord.

I used to be on the same boat as you bro... I actuall had hope in making more than 300whp n/a.. truth is you're going to need to have more than just ITB's, intake header and exhaust with a tune... YOu will def need to swap the internals and get even higher compression pistons and cams, and of course all of the supporting parts that go along with those two... Its not cheap.

Go to inlinepro.com and check out some things they have so you have an idea....

Turbo is the cheaper option to easily push more than 350whp with stock internals and still keep a healthy motor.

I still need to do more research with this topic as well myself, but with a lot of thought put into it im just gunna save up some cash and go boost with AEM standalone.

Good luck!
