Help Removing AEM EMS V2

If I remove my AEM and want to install my stock ECU back in do i need to be aware of anything? Looking at the Aem is secured by a bracket. Does that bracket come off or so i leave it on there? I did not install the aem i had the shop install it and i forgot what the stock looked like. Thanks !

Well on my ap1, the stock ecu just "fits" into some brackets that are welded to the inner fender... my AEM does not fit these and is just stuffed in there and wire tied. I would say if there is a bracket...which by the way would be really cool, it was something that your shop fabbed up quickly to hold the larger box in place. But to answer your question... just unplg the aem, and plug the stock back in... I don't even disconnect the battery...but I guess you could to be on the safe side...and by the way, I have done this a bazillion times... I have intimate knowledge of my kick panel.lol

there is no bracket for the stock ecu.

If you have injectors as well you'll have to swap them back to stock, as your stock ecu is not calibrated for larger injectors

As far as the ecu goes it's plug and play. If you want to sell the AEM ECU Please pm me
