Top and Plastic Window Maintenance

I have a 2001 with about 20K on it that I bought new and have not done much to it except for keeping it clean. The rear window has bothered be for quite some time because I couldn't see through it very well. I could tell there was a vehicle back there but couldn't tell you if it was a car or truck or what color it was. I tried lots of products (Mirror Glaze, PlastX, etc) and none of them seemed to work. Then I read about products made by Ragg Topp and decided to give them a try, and now both my top and rear window look almost new. I mean dramatic improvement. Water beads on my top and I not only can see the car behind me but can easily read the car logos, etc. I have nothing to do with the company except for being a satisfied customer but just wanted to share my experience for any that are having the same problem.

Ragg Topp is by far the most popular. It works extremely well.

I havent used the plastic cleaner, but 3M plastic cleaner (for headlights but works on many things) works very well. I use it to refinish windshields.

I use both the cleaner and polish. It says for headlights but it works for glass and really any plastic surface.

Any sourcing info on the Ragg Topp products? I must live in a cave as I have not seen this one before now..... And, your right on... those other easy to get products don't do much to fix that rear window plastic.

RaggTop and 303 protectant are the two logical choices for our vinyl tops. I've used Novus plastic polish numerous times and I've always had excellent results. The two keys are to thoroughly read the directions and to make sure the area to be treated is clean prior to polishing.
