I think Sti and Evo spoilers look like s**t! But what do I know?

I like the lines of the S2000 without something above the trunk. The OEM rear lip is fine and the Mugen style spoiler looks nice. My personal opinion is that anything in the 'up' direction conflicts with the subtle curves of the well designed S2000. Track guys need downforce, and I understand that. But those big spoilers ruin the good looks IMHO.

It really doesn't matter what we think. It's your car. Do whatever you want to it. Yeah, we'll all laugh at you behind your back, but why should that matter?

Seriously though, unless your intention is to start an argument of purely subjective opinions here, what we think of the CR wing on a non-CR S2000 is of absolutely no consequence whatsoever.

Do you also ask people opinions on your shoes, pants, and other articles of clothing?

I would say that as long as you stay OEM you will be fine. The CR rear spoiler actually looks out of place on a car without the CR front spoiler.

What works for you may not work for someone else. I like the looks of the S without any addons. The CR kit is an entire package where all the parts work together in harmony.

You can go in between a lip and CR.
Instead of this:

(this is what I think I will eventually get)

You can get this:

Neither IMO look like "rice" and flow well with the body lines. Let us know what you decide!

I have to admit that this is my favorite looking spoiler. The down side is that you loose your third brake light. I thought it was Mugen but it turns out it's a Backyard Special spoiler.

i like the BYS, but i dont want to lose my HMSL. If I had a nice looking way to implement a 3rd brake light into it, i'd jump on the next one that popped up in the s2ki marketplace.

I like the ap2 wing on my ap1. I like the way it makes the S look more wedged shape from the side view. I think the asses on our cars are a little rounded, so even the oem lip helps. But what it really comes down to is what you like. A lot of people don't like the ap2 spoiler, but I do, so I got it.

I like the OEM lip spoiler because all I need is some 3M double-sided tape and it's on. No need to drill my trunk.

question is will the big spoilers really provide that much downforce on the track?

I'm pretty sure the BYS spoiler can be attached the same way. Go with the BYS....it's soooo cool!

I have this one and love it. I like how the side bits mimic the overall shape of the car. Its aggressive without looking too ricer-ish.

Any wing that actually improves the performance of the car is not 'rice'.
I vote CR lip and CR wing!

I'm not sure that's a good enough reason to pick certain spoilers!

Taoyuan, Taiwan....$98.00 shipped free......Painted MY03 Sebring Silver color code matched great....packed great....will install tomorrow as it came late today and I had just gotten back from a ride over to the beach...Still not sure about using the supplied bolts or just go with the 3m that is already on spoiler....??

Looks good SR! I'm always a bit leery of stuff coming from Taiwan and China on E-bay but that seems fine. If it's not already on the car you can add another strip of two-way tape for added security.

Good Idea Switch, I will be putting it on today and decided this morning that I am not going to drill holes for sure but adding some extra 3m is the best way to go at this point and if push comes to shove I can remove it with some TLC and not have to contend with the holes.....

"I want to get a spoiler but don't want to rice." sounds oxy-moronish to me.

Some spoilers are added to cars primarily for styling purposes and have either little aerodynamic benefit or even make the aerodynamics worse.

Spoilers for cars are often incorrectly confused with, or the term used interchangeably with, wings. Automotive wings are devices whose intended design is to generate downforce as air passes around them, not simply disrupt existing airflow patterns.

I'm also going with the OEM look. Had the big wing for a few years, look nice for that particular time. l'm repainting the whole car to a different color. l was told that if l did that it will depreciate the value of the car; oh well my S is a keeper for life.

The first picture of that huge spoiler looks awful and sure makes the S look like something out of a junk yard......now the two other photos would make any S look like a million dollar ride.....
