New Convertible top material

While I was researching S2000 issues pre-purchase, I found a company that makes a replacement top from the thicker, more rugged material used by mecedes/porsche/bmw - and it's just a few hundred more than the vinyl. I can't seem to find it now.

Has anyone here heard of this? Pardon my vaguery. I'll continue my google search and if I find it, I'll post it. Seems like it may be a great option.

Best Regards,

L8, you know I love seeing pics of your very cool top. But this thread (and the other convertible top thread too) only got bumped out of the archives from a year and a half ago because the spambot puked all over the forum this morning and resurected about 30 dead threads.

The somewhat depressing part is it's the most activity we've seen in awhile here. I kid! I kid!

Where's Iosh?! That [email protected] [email protected]@rd better bring us all back T-Shirts.
