how do you clean the convertible top?

my uncle drove down from texas to california and the top looks dust from the sand...and idk if you just use water or is there a special thing you can use

Do not. I repeat - DO NOT use your "special thing" to clean the top.

I prefer Ragg Topp, but have seen many a post about 303 and that it does a great job. If you do use it remember it's a vinyl top, so you need to get the product for a vinyl top.

Use either 303 or Ragg Top - if he came from Texas - and it's yellowish - it's not sand - it's tree pollen. It's sticky and will damage the paint so wash the car too.

You can also get it from marine supply shops. It's used on boats a lot.
