Supercharger

Hello all,

My S2K is an 02 with a comptech exhaust and air intake. It also has an an Apexi Vtec controller. I found a good price on a brand new Kraftwerks supercharger kit and have two questions. Does anyone know if the controller will work with it and would I need anything else besides a new clutch?

Very new to this realm!

Jay

Welcome Temp, hope you're enjoying the S2K life. How long have you had the car? The Apexi unit will certainly work with a supercharger, but the thing is...it won't be necessary / it won't offer much.
As for what else you'll need....that just depends on how much boost you're going for, and how hard you'll be driving. Stuff will eventually break, no doubt.

If you're new to the car, I'll offer this advice: drive and appreciate the S2000 for what it is, in it's nearly-stock form. More power is always nice, but it's not what this car is about.

I don't know what the kit includes but I would get bigger injectors and a better fuel pump.

Hi Jim, thank you very much for the feedback. The car has been in my family since 05, but not driven a lot. It currently has 32k on it. I bought the car from my dad and have owned for 4years now. Honda’s are a big part of our family and of course really live the S2K. I definitely appreciate the car and the details aspects that went into making a great roadster that is super fun to drive. I have already started the change over and will post pics.

Thanks for the feedback switchblade. The kit did come with new injectors and I did get a larger AEM fuel pump.
