Small metal knocking sound from my motor !!!!! Ahhhhh

So hears the scoop 2001 s2k 66900 on the odo 4k sence the last oil change mobile 1 and I was taking part in some high speed fun tonight. Long story short, after this on the way home I started hearing a ticking I have a vid up now to show and hear the sound. You can really start to hear what I am talking about 1:14 or so seconds in. I plan to drain oil tomorrow and cut the filter down to inspect. The check engine light is on from the cat mod and yes I just checked the code now still the cat but the sound is 100% internal motor. Does not make a difference if it is in neutral or driving same problem can't hear it tell 2300 rpm or so and only under a load and idle at 3000 rpm above that if you spike it to 5000 or any thing above 3900 and are off the gas the sound is gone ..... Pleas help!!! I am planing a compression test tomorrow before the oil change..... Thanks to all the good help from this forum !!!

When was the last time you adjusted the valves? Sounds like it may be the issue.

doesn't sound like a rod or bearing. maybe a valve retainer? have they been changed out? maybe one has cracked as they are known to do in the early AP1s. have the banjo bolts been changed out--probably not related to this noise but if they haven't been changed, you need to do it--another AP1 problem.
