Why are the flat landers in the same region

Will someone tell this newcomer why Colorado is lumped in with the flat landers? Such as Kansas, Nebraska, Both of the Dakotas?

We have as much in common with them as the Platt Rivers do with the Grand/Colorado rivers.

Because, despite common misconception, that is where the Restaurant at the End of the Universe is located.

We apologize for the inconvenience. DON'T PANIC, they are mostly harmless.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

THIS IS A TRUE STORY!

actually, it is in western KS, just outside dodge city at a truck stop. had a meal there once. i did not eat it, but i saw the toughest, gristlest, steak in the universe. hard to believe in a cow town like dodge that you cannot get a good steak. never saw so much chewing in my life.

question for the waitress: "is this canned corn?"

waitress: "honey, all our vegetables are from a can!"

we still laugh over this one. ain't much fine dining in dodge or at the end of the universe.

oh, and fish? not in dodge city. oh, maybe catfish, fried with tartar sauce, but you know what i mean. no chilean sea bass or even turbot.

RMurphy answered this very well about 2 posts further on.

Of course, the question was asked so long ago that no one knows what the question was.

But I think the mice do know what it was, but won't tell.

Anyone up for breakfast at the Big Bang Burgerbar?

Jon
