ok so i got my wheels..

i got my wheels but im having trouble on what size tire i want to run on them heres what i got.
2-18x8 offset 50
2-18x9 offset 50
i wanna be able to lower my stewie about an inch or so an have no problems with rubbing issues.im thinking 225/40/18 front an 245/40/18 rear you guys think that would look funny since the wheels are wider than stock an im tryin to stay with the same width..or since my offset is decent i could do say 235/40/18 front an 255/35/18 rear an be fine...help .... before i blow mega money on tires.

Most people have this figured out BEFORE they spend mega money tires or wheels. I would have gotten the correct offsets to begin with and then bought the correct tires. Or better yet, bought them at the same time already mounted (i.e. Tire Rack who have the experts (that would be Jim) that can help you with these questions).

The correct offsets for 18" wheels on the S2000 with a width of 8" is +51. 9" width offset is +63.

With these wheels and offsets a 225/40/18 front and 245/35/18 rear tire would work fine even when lowered. With your offsets, I have no clue.

On a side note, good choice in wheel design, that will look nice on an S.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

i hadkno idea what the offset should of been so i went off the gold bbs wheels that were posted on here an i think they were 47 all around it looked ok so i thought 50 would be fine.yes i kno i should have gotten it all together but the price for the wheels cleaned me out..as for tire rack i didnt like the selection they had for wheels why i didnt go with them.

As I said, I think they are very nice, I am just not sure about which tires will or will not fit, sorry.

Try posting your question here and hopefully you will get more help:

It looks good, I like the rims with the black car. Couldn't really tell, but doesn't look like overkill from the pic.

the rear tire sidewall is slightly bigger than the front looks jacked up in the back.sorry for the small picture thought it would be bigger.also twards the bottom of the car the tire sticks out.

That's what we were telling you earlier. Your aspect ratio's were off and the car would look like a 70's muscle car (i.e. jacked up in the back).
