Hey Nor'easters !
Greetings Everybody In The Upper Colonies, and Canadian Brothers.
I don't normally generate threads, but I've gotta know......... especially from those of you driving your S's regularly. ( Mine's my dd , 3 seasons a year, 'n it's good stuff for what I put it through.) Are you feeling it this past week? Spring is gonna spring, 'n soon. Get it while you can folks....pretty soon it'll be hot and muggy and well, you know. Ok, here in Yonderland it's been below freezing at night, but the days have been almost mediocre.....Sunny, sorta....Wouldn't be suprised to wake up to some snow this time of year, but I still think we're cresting the hump. I've been roof open most of the time. Brrrr, but sooo invigorating. Scraped the windshield this morn. Who's out rammin' the roads? Pothole dodgin' Contest.....Friday 6pm @ Yonderland. Jiggy, are you out runnin' her regular? Anyone else? You're out there, maybe? jagg Last edited by jagg : 04-16-2008 at 05:28 PM. |

Yeeehaaaa!!!!!
Cold and clear this morning guys!!!! Still wearing the winter hat and 3 layers. (I've found keeping a beard helps) This is the best time of year for open roof driving. The trees aren't leafed out yet, and visibility beyond the next apex is excellent. I've been logging 300-400 miles a week for the last month+. Okay, so some people look at you funny......I don't know 'bout you guys, but they look at me funny in the summer too. So, I'm guessing it doesn't have much to do with the roof being open on a cold morn. I'd tell you it's because I'm so darned good looking.......but I'd be lying. jagg |

Had a slight relapse to some chilly'n rainy past few, but today'z openin' act lookz promisin': dry', pretty sunny.
'Turtlez'll be sunnin' 'emselvez'n topz'll definitely be dropped today. Okay, so Raggtopperz'll have their topz dropped today. The rest'uv'em . . . . . . I got no @*#&in' idea why they even own convertibles. Have'a great one gang. Java

I truly beleive that this certainly is the best time of year to enjoy the car with the roof off. Clear air and no bugs and a good heater ..............what more could you ask for.
Back in Wales I used to have a MG Midget 74 with wire wheels, the top used to be off all the time and as long as I drive fast enoughf the rain would'nt come in. O yea last year Summer fell on a Thursday ! YeeeeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...........Jag Neil |
