Using iPhone as car mp3 player...
Hey all,
I've seen the iPod hook-ups @ www.mp3yourcar.com. I'm getting an iPhone 3G soon and I saw that the Neo unit is compatible with the iPhone so I'll be getting that, but I will also need a place to mount it at. Does anyone have pictures of where they've mounted devices and ran wires? I'd like a clean-as-possible setup without wires running around the cabin.

To each his own I guess. Go try it out yourself and then let us know what you think. I was trying out my friend's and it fits all of my needs perfectly.

I've got one of the rubber cases for my iphone, I just prop it up against the radio door and it stays put.

i ran the ipod cable out behind the passenger side of the radio bay. the wire goes through the back of the passenger cargo net and out the front. when the ipod is hooked up and no one is with me, the ipod sits in the front seat. when someone is with me, it sits in the cargo net. when it's not hooked up, it is very easy to just tuck the cable in the net and no one looking in can really tell it is there.

i set my phone in the cup holder thing at an angle, makes it easy to see for the most part. so far the iphone is great. I am lookin in to other mounting options that would make using the gps better. maybe some how to the right of the ac controls would be nice

I ran the cable under the carpet and into the glove compartment (between the seats) which is where I connect my Ipod.
