Smoke tinted headlights

is it just a cheap film people use? or is there aftermarket headlights like that? I found a cheap film on ebay but I really dont trust it too much anyone have any experience or tips on giving your headlights a smoked tint?

most the cheap stuff you see is an overlay or thin sheet versus a true film kit.

smoked lights make stewie cry though

That's a no go. Why would you want to tint over her beautiful HID blues eyes?

I dont know if a film would form well to the contours of the light. Tail lights can be smoked by actually painting them. Sanded rough painted with a translucent paint and then very fine wet sanding.

My buddy tinted his headlights and tails with a spray. It looks pretty good.

I have the same tinted/colored films for headlights and tail lights. They have made a great addition to my ClearMask paint protection films. I will post some pics soon. They actually look very nice. The great thing is you can take them off if you have to. If you spray your lights, their finished... you will never get them back to stock. And lights are pretty dam expensive to buy. I blacked out my tail lights and lightly tinted my headlights... if the cops pull me over I can pull them right off.

The film is made out of the same material I get for clear bra headlight protection. Its a little thicker than my normal kits but looks great on.

I know at least one member has used a product from this vendor, the blue film. I have seen the result and the lights look excellent.
