Does ap2 hardtop fit on a ap1 car????

I was told i only would need the brushes to make it fit...cuz he has all the rest of the hardware....is this true?...any comments or suggestions?

That is true, however Corp. Honda said the parts are changalbe, however Honda service centers are NOT allowed to do the swap. It is pretty straight forward from what I hear, maybe...7-10 guys here locally have done it. You can find the new glass back tops for around 500-650 on-line.
