this bites!

yet again my car has been injured... I was on my way to nashville the other day when BAM!!! there was a black bumper in the middle of the road and you guessed it the bam came from me coming down the high way at 75mph smacking right into it. it ripped my front bumper and tore my fender liners completly out, not to mention toasted my drivers side shock. basicall if any one happens apon some s2k iner fenders and a shock let me know and i'll gladly purchase them... I'll have some pictures up as soon as i can. i have my bumper race repaired with zipp ties looks kinda cool.

I must say my s2k is cursed!

I would cry...
My car is perfect and I am already leery of driving it heavy traffic because 95% of people don't love their rides and it shows.

I know it's traumatic but you need to get used to it. In 9 years I have gone through several front bumpers, windshields, side strakes, spoilers and all the other fair wear and tear items. If you drive on the street, it's just the cost you must pay.

Here's what you can do: Clear bra the front of the car, don't follow 18 wheelers on the fwy, park as far away from other cars as possible in groc stores, etc. Leave plenty of room if parking behind/front of oth cars and make daily sacrifices to the Car Gods.

I'm in the process of getting my front bumper fixed too. Last month I was on the freeway and a truck swerved out of the way and I saw a rim of a tire bouncing its way towards me. I swerved, but not far enough. I got nicked on the right side, just a little too high for an aftermarket chin spoiler.
