If you want out find out if the service has been performed all you have to do is go into a honda dealership(if there honest) or call honda north america(best option) give them your vin and they will tell u . I had mine done about a month ago i dont think they put any kind of mark over my vin

This recall is years old. Did you buy the car new or used? Either way, I would take it to Honda (perhaps someone here could provide you with the TSB or recall number). I know my 2001 had its plugs replaced on this recall in early 2002. It was said to be related to spark plugs disintegrating inside the engine leading to total failure. Pretty serious. Good luck.

You can do it yourself. All it was was a tightening of the spark plugs (higher torque setting of about 5 lbs- 13 to 18 I think) and then a sticker put into your owner's manual to reflect the new torque specs.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

That's what I thought. I check them about every 20k just because it's a high revving engine.
