test drove a S2000

I was at the dealership lastnight and I drove a S, I'am not 100% sure but while I was really getting on the gas in 3rd or 4th then let go I think I felt a little shake from one of the petals, almost like a abs kicked in for a sec...I didnt give it much thought at the time prob. because I was all siked about driving it. Anyone ever hear about anything like that, Maybe I'am just crazy

I thought the same thing when I felt a shudder from the clutch pedal with my foot just touching it. Turns out my car that some vibration comes throught the clutch pedal with no pressure applied. If you put any pressure on the pedal then it goes away so it is not a mechanical problem but appears to be a harmonic issue that occasionally shakes the pedal. Anyway, I've stopped worrying and accepted it as a characteristic of the car.

Hope this helps

I see it is a MY01. When you felt this vibration were you around 3500 to 4500 RPM. If so it is probably the "clutch buzz". It is the springs on the disc that vibrate at that RPM range. I have a MY00 and it does the same thing. Shouldn't be a mechanical problem.

Not sure if that is what you where feeling just a thought.

Good luck. And ENJOY!!

Just got home with it, after getting the feel of it I found that when I'am just coasting and I keep my foot on the clutch (not really hold it down but covering it) thats whats vibrating...
